Leica D-LUX 4
Leica released several updates to their lines among which are the D-Lux 4. The compact Leica are not as popular or best known, but the brand still continues with its tradition of good design and quality construction. In that combination we add the high quality of the optics.
The camera is has stabilized optical zoom 24-60mm (35mm equivalent) that the company also says it is ultra fast. The rest of the specifications are:
- 10.1 MP CCD sensor
- LCD screen 2.5″
- Sensitivity up to ISO3200
- Face Detection
- Automatic modes that include ISO control automatic contrast compensation and automatic scene selection.
- Full Manual Capture Mode
- HD video recording at 30fps
- Support for SD / SDHC
The Leica D-LUX 4, like her twin, the Panasonic Lumix LX3, you can save images in RAW format. This feature alone would make one more option that interesting unless its launch price is no less than 700 €.
